SEOUL CONFERENCE 2025
General Information for Registration
The 6th Annual Conference - Seoul 2025
International Association for Reconciliation Studies (IARS)

Three types of fees are associated with participating in “Seoul Conference 2025”:
(1) IARS membership fees; (2) conference registration fees; (3) optional program fees.
  • Membership Fee
    • All participants in roles, such as chairs, presenters, or discussants, are required to (1) join as IARS members and (2) pay membership fees before the Conference begins.
    • Participants must complete both steps to be considered current IARS members.
    • IARS membership is based on an annual cycle, so any past membership must be renewed for the current year.
    • The IARS membership fee collected during registration will be transferred to the IARS Global Secretariat. If you have already paid the membership fee directly to the IARS bank account this year, you do not need to pay again. We will cross-check the payment records if needed.
    • Participants who paid membership fees must also complete the payment of conference registration fees to attend the conference. Registering as an IARS member alone does not confirm your place in the conference.
    • Membership fee rate (subject to change depending on the currency rate):

    • IARS members may enjoy a discounted registration fee. Participants who paid membership fees must also pay for conference registration fees to attend the Conference.
    • Registration on early-bird rate is available until June 20, 2025 (KST). Registration on regular rate is available online until June 27, 2025 (KST). Official registration deadline closes then, and on-site payment is only available for general attendee registering at the conference.
    • All registrations made after deadlines are subjected to separate inquiry to the Seoul Secretariat via email iars.seoul.2025@gmail.com.
    • No Partial Registration Available: The Conference does not offer one-day or partial registration options. All participants are required to register at the full rate, regardless of the length of attendance.
    • Participants with Financial Constraints: While the IARS Seoul Conference does not actively encourage selecting a lower fee category, we recognize that financial circumstances vary. In support of participants from the Global South, or those in full-time employment but experiencing financial difficulty, registration under the reduced-rate category will be generously considered. We trust all participants to make a responsible and honest decision based on their individual circumstances.
