Important Reminders of Registration, Program, and Conference Logistics
Dear Participants,
Greetings from the IARS Seoul Conference 2025 Secretariat.
Several important deadlines are approaching quickly. Please review the following updates and reminders regarding your participation:
1. Register and Pay for Excursion Program on July 18 by June 16
A guided walking tour to the Civilian Control Zone (CCZ) near the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ)
▶ Registration Deadline: June 16, 2025
Participants must register and pay for the program through the Optional Program Menu on the Conference Website and submit a copy of their passport to the Secretariat at their earliest convenience.
As announced earlier, the DMZ Peace Tour is limited in capacity and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that due to updated tourism policies, at least 30 participants are required to access the CCZ area. If fewer than 30 register, the tour will be adjusted to include non-CCZ zone sites instead. We kindly ask for your understanding regarding this regulation.

2. Early-Bird Registration Extended – New Deadline: June 20, 2025
▶ New Registration Deadline: June 20, 2025
To encourage greater participation, the Secretariat has extended the Early-Bird Registration deadline to June 20, 2025. We strongly encourage all participants to complete registration as soon as possible.
▶ Regular registration will close on June 27, 2025, which also serves as the final registration deadline for all presenters and program participants, and no further extensions will be granted.
On-site registration will be available only for general attendees. Participants who have not registered by this date will be automatically withdrawn from the program.

3. Program and Participation Change Reminders
As a reminder, only the final version of the conference program will be released after registration closes on June 27, 2025.
▶ If you intend to withdraw from the program, please inform the Secretariat by June 20, 2025.
▶ If you are willing to serve as a panel chair, please contact the Secretariat by June 20, 2025 via email (iars.seoul.2025@gmail.com).
We appreciate your participation and understanding.
4. Other Reminders
(1) Accommodation at Hoam Faculty House
▶ Participants with existing reservations must complete payment by June 27, 2025 to retain their booking.
▶ We are currently looking for one male and one female participant willing to share a room. If you are open to this option, kindly contact us by June 20, 2025 to assist with room arrangements.
▶ For new reservations, please contact the Secretariat as soon as possible.

(2) Visa Documents
▶ The request period for physical copies of visa documents has now closed.
▶ The Secretariat can only provide scanned copies from now on.
(3) Official Documents – Accommodation Confirmations and Receipts
▶ Accommodation confirmations will be sent individually during the upcoming week. If you have made a reservation but have not received any communication from the Secretariat by June 20, 2025, please email us with your reservation details.
▶ Official payment receipts will be issued individually near the end of June. As these are prepared manually, we appreciate your patience.
